Lawler Veterinary Essentials was established by Dr. Lawler in 2021. Dr. Lawler brings more than 25 years of dedicated service to the health and well being of animals with a focus on the importance of the human-animal bond and always acting as an advocate for all those creatures who cannot speak for themselves.
A note from Dr. Lawler
Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome I have received since opening the clinic in March 2022. My hope in opening Lawler Veterinary Essentials, LVE, was to bring my experience and skills to the Dansville are and help as many people and pets as possible. The response has been overwhelming and I am grateful to everyone who has been willing to utilize our services.
As a veterinarian, I have worked in high-volume affordable care for most of my career. The past eight months of operating LVE in Dansville has shown me that the affordable veterinary care model is as much needed in Western New York as it is in other areas of the country. It is my intention to continue to develop LVE as an affordable care clinic.
As a limited service, affordable care clinic we will offer the following services:
• Affordable spay/neuter
• Routine dental cleaning
• Wellness examinations and vaccinations
routine blood work
basic care for skin, eyes and ears
• End of life care
For the affordable veterinary care business model to work, it is necessary to limit our services to specific areas of veterinary medicine. We will continue to endeavour to help any animal that needs veterinary care, but our diagnostic and treatment capability will always be limited.
We are not able to offer services for orthopedic conditions including, radiographs (X-rays) and orthopedic surgeries.
We are not able to offer extensive workup or treatment for severely sick or injured animals, including those requiring overnight hospitalization.
We are not able to offer emergency services.
